We have a couple new additions on the site finally.  Ought to be able to put in a little more time now that the annual membership drive and Apple Blossom efforts are wrapped up.  

We have a few photos uploaded into some galleries and we plugged in the 2009 membership list also.

Club members - please send me some more photos and keep checking back on the Calendar for the most current schedule information.  Of course, I've got plenty of photos of my own car so if you want to let a MOPAR guy run roughshod all over the club's website... don't say I didn't warn you!

Big News - There is NOT going to be a Clem's Cruise-in this year but we will be using the same date and location for the special Valley Cruisers 20th Anniversary Cruise-in.  Our operating budget isn't great enough to allow us to purchase and giveaway 275 teddy bears like Clem's always did but we are going to give away some pretty cool Valley Cruisers matchbox cars.   We'll also be sending out order forms for T-shirts.  

We will be working very hard to make the 20th Anniversary Cruise-in live up the the very lofty reputation of Clem's so we'll be needing a lot of help from the club members.  Look for more information regarding the Cruise-in planning and other schedule related content in the Newsletter that will be sent out within the next couple days.  I'll try to post it here too!

Have a great weekend - and let's hope some of this rain gives us a break - enough already!  Weekend activities include McCoy's Dairy Bar Cruise-in this evening.  The Children's Miracle Network Car Show is at the Strasburg Rite-Aid tomorrow and then we have the Quarles Cruise-in in Front Royal Saturday evening.

         The April Newsletter has been emailed out already and the conventional mail copies will be dropped in a mailbox this afternoon.   

Please check out the Upcoming Events page for a link to a working Valley Cruisers Google Calendar.  The Calendar is as current as anything the club has at this moment but MANY details for many shows and events simply aren't known yet.   If you have any extra information on these events - PLEASE pass it on. 

I could even delegate permission to anyone (with a valid Google account - they're free!  Wink! Wink!) to allow them to update the calendar directly.   The calendar links directly to Google Maps and I'm trying to get locations and POCs and phone numbers all listed.   Your help would be greatly appreciated.

If you like having a printed copy of the calendar stuck to your Fridge' or whatever, I recommend printing it off in the "Agenda" view.  That seems to provide more details than the other views.

The Planning for the 20th Anniversary show is ongoing - it will be a big topic of discussion at the May club meeting.  Hope to see you there!

The information for the Apple Blossom parade has been received and is being mailed out with the Newsletter.

I'm currently working on uploading some photo galleries of previous Valley Cruisers events.  If you have pictures of your car or other Valley Cruisers Events, please send them to me and I'll get working on it.

Still trying to get this site started up.  Progress has been a lot slower than expected but I haven't given up yet. 

If you have any pictures of your cars or Previous Cruisers events, please send me some stuff to work with here.   I've got some stuff (Rick and Dennis in Elf costumes! - Now that's Funny!) that I'll be getting posted but I'm sure you all have a lot more.
